History

At Vinciguerra Construction, our roots lead back to a general building contractor founded by Wayne Vinciguerra in 1978. Wayne began finishing concrete and performing small remodels. In the 80’s he began erecting pre fabricated metal buildings and constructing buildings.

His Success continued in the 90’s when Wayne Vinciguerra was awarded the contract to completely restore the Amador Hospital and build the Amador Residential Care Facility. He also began performing site work and major utility rehabilitation projects. With the successful completion, his company was also called upon by entities in need of Emergency Response, such as projects like the El Dorado Flume Repairs and Electra Road.

In the 00’s his sons and at one point his daughter became involved in the business and at this time VC emerged as a premier contractor in completing major road construction, utility rehabilitations, pre fabricated metal buildings, and general building construction.

As the economic down turn hit in 2008-2010 VC opened an office in San Luis Obispo and completed numerous projects on the coast streching from Ventura to Salinas in addition to work in the foothills.

From 2011 to present we began taking on more work in the greater Sacremento Area, Lake Tahoe Basin, and Foothills and closed our San Luis Obispo office.

The Vinciguerra Team has successfully completed major infrastructure projects and look towards the future and new opportunities that present themselves.
